Humayun Khan is an evaluation and project management specialist. He is the General Secretary at the Asia Pacificic Evaluation Association. He has over ten years of experience in proposal development, program design, monitoring and evaluation, implementation, grant compliance and operations. Areas of programmatic focus include education, curriculum development, teacher training, peace building, children & youth, and life skills development. In Humayun’s current role, he supports CIIT, Fafo Research Foundation, GIZ, UNHCR and Ministry of Ministry of States and Frontier Regions SAFRON in research project title “Study on Socio-Economic Impact of Afghan Refugees on Pakistan”.

Previously, he has managed and supported projects addressing the key education challenges in Sindh, KPK and ICT with an emphasis on improving the situation of girls’ education. Humayun holds an MS Degree in Conflict, Peace and Development from Pakistan, and is also an internationally certified trainer on structured play based learning resources on holistic child development, participatory leadership, peace building, and life skills development.
