Yasir Waraich is an economist by training and later specialized in project and performance management. Mr. Yasir has over 12 years of experience in program design, performance monitoring, assessments, and evaluations of large and complex emergency and development assistance programs. He has experience engaging with aid agencies’ program offices, technical offices, INGOs, civil society, government line departments and implementing partners to work on child protection, education, governance, food security & livelihood, peacebuilding and stabilization programs. Mr. Yasir is well versed with the socio-political aspects of Southern Punjab, Northern Sindh and ex-FATA districts of Pakistan. He also worked in Thailand, Nepal and the Democratic Republic of Laos.
